Believe it or not Il Fornaio (the branch by Athena Park) got a new pastry chef and they have these. I’ve tried a few and they are very good.

Is that the fruit shaped, cream and jelly filled pastries? Il fornaio has them, at least the Astoria one.

Bibble & Sip has similar ones but maybe not as luxurious as Salswee or Lysee

Salswee in Manhattan there is two locations now, flushing has one also but the name is different called Shakalaka

  5. Salswee is where you want to get these in nyc. I don’t think they’re a dupe though.

Salswee and Lysee are great options. You could also try Roam dessert bar and gallery in LIC!

It may help to broaden your search to fruit “entremets.” AnnTremet offers some of what you’re looking for.
