Found on Facebook for £15 apparently fully working. I currently have a vertuo machine as it was the only one in my price-point during the sales, but the pods are becoming too expensive so I'd much prefer to have an original. However, they all start at £100 and I just cant justify that at the moment!

Should I buy this or is the Delonghi nespresso machine no good?

Just got one of these open box on eBay and I like it a lot. I was coming from the vertuo next and for the same reason as you I got this since the pods were much cheaper. I’d recommend it. Only thing is that it’s a bit louder than the vertuo imo. Just make sure to clean it well

Just be aware that the OL pods only brew about 40ml or 1.35oz of coffee volume. It will take at least two pods to get a smallish mug of coffee. Your costs may be about the same or more. A typicaj OL pod costs say 1.05×2=2.10 versus say a 1.40 Virtuo Melozio pod. These are US Nespresso prices.

£15 is a steal if it works. DeLonghi makes solid Nespresso machines, they’re one of the original manufacturers alongside Breville.

OriginalLine pods are indeed way cheaper than Vertuo. You can also get third-party pods (Illy, Lavazza, etc.) which cut costs even more. Vertuo locked you into their expensive pods, so this switch makes financial sense.
