First time using the snake method, and it worked very well. Wrapped it after 5 hours, back on for 3 hours, rested for 2 hours in a cooler. Not perfect but pretty damn good.

Such an awesome experience and adventure every time. Have done probably a half dozen now and love the outcome and learnings that come with each. Enjoy!!!

It’s my favorite method. I like cooking a bit faster around 275 and wrap after 5-6 hours then in the oven for the rest after the charcoal is gone. Much easier and it doesn’t get more smoke really after the wrap.
