I found a mortgage lifter plant at my local flower shop here in swfl that was out of control with 3 main stems coming from the root ball. I managed to gain control back and the plant is now around 7.5 foot tall with some 2lb beauty's on it (30 total). I propagated 3 other plants from suckers and will be growing these as a single stem to see if I can get into the 3lb class. Very interesting plants in how they grow. I'm also going to grow some Black Krim, pink Brandywine and San Marzano's for sauce. Anyways, that's my story.

Beautiful! I can’t wait until spring, so I can get my garden started. ☺️

lovely.. i need to get some tomatoes in the ground. i’m still holding on to “winter”, with broccoli, cauliflower, onions, and beets still taking up much of my garden space.

    I like your story!

Also jealous you have some growing now. Here in 6b it’s a solid three months before I can plant outside.

Mortgage Lifter is an awesome variety. One slice covers an entire sandwich.
