Tonkatsu curry at Tokyo Kitchen

I recommended Tokyo Kitchen in another post recently and that made me realize I was overdue for a visit. Big fan of their Japanese comfort food tucked away on Charles St east of Yonge for over 20 years. Given the frigid day had to order the heart warming tonkatsu curry. With plenty of sliced beef, the curry is very rich with a pleasant amount of spice. The deep fried pork was nicely crispy and juicy. At $17, given the central location, deliciousness, portions, and it includes a small side salad, definitely hits the spot.
