An Italian restaurant in Hull is making waves with its incredible pasta bowls — made entirely from pizza dough. It’s carbs with a side of carbs, and we are here for it.

Pasco’s Italian, located in Hull city centre, is known for serving up authentic Italian cuisine, but it’s their creative twist on a classic that has really caught people’s attention. The restaurant now offers its pasta dishes served inside giant edible bowls crafted from freshly baked pizza dough.

The concept is simple but brilliant: choose any pasta from the menu and have it served in one of their signature pizza bowls. We tried a classic carbonara and a rich bolognese, both presented inside the oversized dough bowls — and the portions were absolutely massive.

Each bowl is finished with a generous brushing of garlic butter, adding even more flavour and effectively turning your pasta dish into a full garlic bread experience. It’s a unique way to elevate a traditional Italian meal, combining two favourites in one indulgent feast.

The best part? The pizza bowl is available with any of their pasta dishes, meaning you can personalise your dream combination before finishing things off with a proper Italian dessert.
