So I'm usually a Graeters guy but im visiting in DC and get this from the V.L. store and come back to my hotel I start eating this and notice everyone in the lobby is staring at me 😅. Finally a women comes over. She goes. Thats looooks bombbbbb. She sits down and we bond over top shelf ice cream for a while. You know it was delicious its not Graeters level but im going to put it right under graeters and it definitely gets the people going! So I got to say im a Van Leeeuwuns fan now.

Yes, Graeter’s texture can’t be beaten, but I like VL’s French base, too. I tried one of the Dr. Seuss flavors that had the same cornbread, and I don’t think I like that texture and flavor mixed with ice cream. But I have liked most of the ones I’ve tried (any of the ones with honeycomb are worth trying, like peanut butter or caramelized banana).
