

Half term holidays here in the UK so took the kids out to the local animal park this morning. They're currently having their afternoon nap and the babysitter is taking over afterwards so allowing myself a little lunchtime treat.
Rieussec 2007 (getting its own post now). Virtually unchanged since Saturday night, barley sugar, pain d'épices and a bit of fresh ginger plus a honeyish taste and a bit of dried apricot.
Served with leftover foie gras torchon and toasted brioche. A perfect lunchtime treat with a little glass of 18 year old 1er GCC Sauternes.
