ANNE ARUNDEL, MD — A much-beloved Italian restaurant is preparing to open its doors once again after being off the Pasadena dining scene for more than two years.
Anthony’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar announced in a social media post Sunday that preparations are underway to reopen the eatery “soon.”
The restaurant’s Pasadena location is at 8010 Hogneck Road.
“We know many of you have asked for reopening dates and updates over the past two years,” reads the Facebook post. “We intentionally chose not to share specific timelines, as we wanted to ensure we were fully compliant with all permits and county requirements before making any announcements.”
“The process has taken longer than expected, and we appreciate your understanding as we have worked through every necessary step properly,” the post notes.
The restaurant’s previous post in January teased a bit of a countdown, which had interested diners calling for an announcement on an opening date. “Give us a date,” read one person’s response.
From pasta to pizza favorites, the restaurant served Pasadena residents for more than 20 years.
