Without specifying a date, Anthony’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Pasadena said it will be reopening “soon.”
The restaurant’s operators wrote on social media that, after being closed for “over two years,” they were grateful for continued community support and appreciative of the community’s understanding.
“We intentionally chose not to share specific timelines, as we wanted to ensure we were fully compliant with all permits and county requirements before making any announcements,” the restaurant’s operators wrote on social media.
They could not immediately be reached for comment.
The Facebook post announcing the planned reopening garnered hundreds of comments, mostly from people excited by the news.
Anthony’s Pasadena, located in a shopping center on Hog Neck Road, is one of three locations. The others are in Bowie and Clarksville. Why the location in Pasadena closed more than two years ago has not been made public, but the location stopped updating various social media accounts in 2022.
Anthony’s menu features pizzas with handmade dough, pasta classics (including baked ziti and lasagna), flash-fried chicken wings and more.
The Pasadena location has a valid liquor license, according to the Anne Arundel County Liquor Board website. It was issued in 2025 and expires at the end of April.
