At a quick glance, I thought this was a double double. I should know as I go to in n out weekly lol, Looks good.

We don’t have In N Out here, so I’ve never been. But I know a good burger when I see one. I’m curious about the sauce you have on the top patty.

Since my caption isn’t showing up:

I live on the East Coast and always think about this burger.

Today I opted for Pepperidge Farm brioche buns because In N Out’s feel almost cake-y. I was worried that the buttery-ness of these buns would be too much but they are surprisingly close to the real thing. Spongey and springy but not overly dense.

    Onions: grilled in W sauce
    Patties: mustard fried.

Then I kinda winged the sauce (white vinegar, ketchup, yellow mustard, mayo, (sweet) relish).

All in all, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten. I will have to use non-shredded lettuce and thinner tomato slices next time.

Your fries look too good to be a true in n out clone

All it’s missing is the napkin with melted cheese on it.

I’m gonna have to make one myself since I miss California so much, but I’ll add green chiles since I’m in New Mexico now 😛
