No debris, There were a few pieces that still seemed woody now that y’all mention it. Used a bit and some apple wood to cold smoke a sockeye salmon. No off taste.

I bought 3 bags a couple years ago because I was out of charcoal and thats all the grocery store had, and I wasnt driving the extra 10 minutes to Lowe’s.
Every single bag had multiple baseball sized rocks, one had a 8 inch chunk of railroad tie, complete with a broken spike.
