

Fried the sardines in their own oil after a 5-spice and ginger flour rub. Deglazed the pan with soy sauce leading the the gorgeous black goo in the second pic. Made ramen in the pot, the broth supplemented by the soy sardines goo. 10/10

There are ton of options for quick and easy meals by keeping on hand dried and frozen noodles like ramen, soba, udon, rice noodles, glass noodles, etc.
Then there are quick broths like dried chicken, dashi and concentrated pho broth. Flavorings like miso or thai curry paste. Add a few fresh or frozen vegetables and then there are a ton of possible permutations. Then add canned fish, and maybe an egg or some tofu too…
