I’m addicted to roasts. Top round roast with potatoes. Exceptionally tender…
because I used a meat tenderising powder. Seasoned excessively with pepper and some msg (my favourite ingredient lately) and drippings used to make a gravy.
I made one last night. Fantastic poor mans prime rib! Made 6 meals for $17

Do ’em all the time. We do ’em in our big roasting pan with whole carrots & celery, halved onions, small red bliss potatoes & peeled garlic cloves under the roast so the drippings flavor everything. We eat off of that for a week.

Buy a deli slicer, mind blowing.
You should try them sous vide. Next level!
Broil it first or fry the surface in the pan for more bark.
What was oven temperature, and target roast temperature?
teflon reduction
