Coffee Toffee

My dads favorite ice cream is the Ben and Jerry’s coffee toffee flavor. He was visiting so I decided to try to recreate it. For the ice cream, I heated my milk until just steaming and then added about a cup of coarsely ground coffee beans, covered and let steep for 15 mins. Then I strained and finished making my base as usual.for the chocolate covered toffee pieces I used the toffee recipe from The Perfect Scoop. Came out great, will definitely be making again
