Ok. Every time I see fried bologna mentioned I bring this up. My extremely small farming community school had something on the menu called a “Bologna Boat”. A big slab of fried bologna. A huge scoop of instant mashed potatoes dead center. Government cheese melted over the top of everything.

As Mexicans in central Cali, we grew up eating fried bologna on tortillas. Heaven.
