
This includes brown rice that was cooked in chicken bone broth with angel sweet tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, and shrimp. The seasonings include turmeric, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and onion/garlic pepper!
I usually just try to eat minimally processed foods, so im curious how closely my meal aligns with the Mediterranean diet!

Great ingredients. Proportions are important and it is hard to guess when all mixed up. Before mixing would it meet the portions on a plate of 1/4 rice, 1/4 shrimp and half veggies? (See the “helpful visuals” at the top of this subReddit. )
the veggie portion is lacking IMO. i see a rice bowl with a few veggies vs a veggie bowl with some rice. i always add beans too.
Components are compliant but needs way more veggies. That is rice with a little bit of veggies and chicken, should be the opposite.
