INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, a spacious resort nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, announces weekly fresh pasta making demonstrations at its Osteria Sierra restaurant. “The Art of Pasta” events give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at pasta making, and opportunities to taste the pasta while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine.
“We are thrilled to welcome our guests and local community for ‘The Art of Pasta’ experience,” said Shay Prince, Chef de Cuisine at Osteria Sierra. “These events offer a rare opportunity for guests to step into the culinary process, connect with our culinary team, and taste the difference that fresh, local ingredients can make.”
The fresh pasta making demonstrations are led by Chef Shay Prince. While pursuing his career in culinary arts, Prince discovered a rich family history tied back to Italy. This realization sparked a renewed interest and passion for creating delicious Italian cuisine.
Throughout his career, Chef Prince has worked around the country including managing the renowned Donderos restaurant at Grand Hyatt Kauai. Along with his team, Chef Prince has crafted an elevated north Italian dining experience at Osteria Sierra infused with fresh local flavors sourced from the Tahoe Food Hub.
