A Japanese-French croissant and brunch spot inside one of Richmond’s busiest malls has been listed for sale.
Hazukido Cafe Plus at Aberdeen Centre had been listed for sale on Realtor.ca with an asking price of $199,900.
The listing was also spotted by several Noms Mag community members, who also found a separate listing for the business on Facebook Marketplace.
The MLS listing makes an important distinction: only the business assets are for sale, not the Hazukido brand name.

That includes equipment, clientele, furniture, leasehold improvements, and a full kitchen and bakery setup.
The listing also states that the business is profitable, but the seller is looking to retire.
A change of usage is allowed, subject to Aberdeen Centre mall management approval.
The listing has been on Realtor.ca for 46 days.

Hazukido Cafe Plus opened back in January 2024 and has been operating for roughly two years.
This was a notable opening at the time because it marked the first North American Cafe Plus location for Hazukido, a Taiwanese chain known for its Japanese-style French croissants.
Unlike Hazukido’s other bakery-focused locations, the Cafe Plus concept is a full sit-down restaurant offering brunch, salads, pastas, and savoury meals alongside signature croissants with flavours like Truffle Crab, Salted Egg Yolk, and Fresh Strawberry Custard.

The space also has an afternoon tea service that has been quite popular.
Hazukido previously had a bakery location in Yaletown, but that has already shut down.
The Aberdeen location unit is known among locals as a cursed spot, as many food businesses have attempted to make things work there.
For now, the Cafe Plus location still appears to be open during its regular hours.
