I’ve tried it before as a child, always turning my nose up because I was an idiot. Now that I know how precious an onion truly is, I can accurately enjoy this beautiful soup. It is quite difficult to eat; I’ve burned my tongue unfortunately. But wow have I missed out all these years. To never turning down an onion dish ever again 🥂

I can’t have that without burning the shit out of my mouth because it is so damn delicious. If you are just discovering onions now I envy you. Go out and buy a few and try and caramelize them.
