
Since it’s the weekend I couldn’t wait to dig into the wheel of Camembert from my last post. Originally I was just going to do pancakes and scrambled eggs but something told me to get a slice of the Camembert and try it with some pepper jelly on top, along with my pancakes smothered in blackberry fruit spread. I gotta say I’m totally blown away. The cheese melts like butter on my tongue and fuses wonderfully with the fruit spread and soft bite of pancake. It might be unconventional based on what I’ve seen people recommend but I want this for breakfast on the regular. I’m considering getting another slice of Camembert to finish off these cakes!
