Any ideas how to fix this leaking? Is it just a case of descaling? It leaks a few seconds after liquid pours out the correct place.
I haven't descaled in quite a while. But this actually started happening shortly after using some offbrand matcha cups.

Looks like a gasket has failed. It might be toast. 🙁
You can try looking up teardown and repair videos for your machine on YouTube but I have read that replacement parts are difficult to get.
You don’t have a pod inserted. You always get more wastewater without a pod.
Non-Nespresso pods also usually produce more wastewater as they lack a silicone seal.
