All 3 of these are currently for sale locally to me. I currently have a white mountain larger traditional style ice cream maker, but for experiementing with new flavors, etc, I want something smaller and faster. I can always scale up production for a larger batch with my white mountain.

I'm just getting started and have done a few last year using my big machine, but I definitely need something smaller to start with. Obviously, I could negotiate some of these prices potentially. I'd appreciate any advice.

The ninja is not like the others. It essentially shaves down and blends a frozen block of whatever into an ice cream-like texture. Lots of folks like them.

The other two actually churn the ice cream and are essentially identical. So long as the bowl is in good shape, get whatever’s cheaper.

Also check your local thrift stores. Lots of of ice cream and bread machines end up there.

I prefer the ninja, I like my churning machine but the bowl won’t forgive your mistakes, if you buy a churning one make sure to grab the one with compressor
