Steak sandwich – I usually have this on homemade sourdough but I had a roll recently. Homemade mayo, cheddar, beetroot, steak, rocket. On occasions where I have it, I will add bacon jam but its perfect for me as is.
Turkey sandwich – on a crispy, warm grain roll. Shaved smoked turkey, cranberry sauce, cheddar, rocket. So simple but so good.
Ham and salad roll – homemade roll (white or wholemeal), homemade mayo, triple smoked ham, cheddar, beetroot (hiding in this pic), grated or shredded carrot, iceberg lettuce. One of my favourite work lunches and always with potato chips.
I love simple sandwiches with really nice ingredients, and all 3 of these remind me of times growing up. What would be your top 3 sandwiches?

Rocket ? They all look delish- there really isn’t anything like a great sandwich. My step dad and I would make “ Dagwood s” and would put everything but the kitchen sink in them- a wonderful memory❤️
I now agree with you that the simple ones tend to be the best🙂
