Good texture: IMO more flaky than mushy (which we liked) compared to others similarly priced liked King Oscar or Wild Planet. On a sardine scale taste was more “meaty” than fishy, if that makes sense, and the olive oil wasn’t overbearing so all in all a good quality for price point. Originally 4 sardines in the tin before I started dishing them out and suddenly remembered to get a pic. This is our first tin of Matiz, so can’t speak to consistency of quality. Lil’ Chonk ate 1.5 ‘dines, but not with that feverish “this is is the greatest food my baby taste buds have eaten” attitude she gets when we find a brand she loves. 7/10 tiny tot toes, would eat again (next time I’ll try one of their spicy tins without Lil’ Chonk)
