I portioned this off my chuck roast. Is it the eye? What’s the best way to cook this? Like a prime rib? It’s just a small piece.

They way I prefer to cook any thick cut steak is reverse sear on a smoker. Smoke at 225 till 10 degrees under desired temp. Then sear hot either on cast iron or over charcoal.

I had some waygu chuck eyes and even then they were not great grilled as a steak. I would probably treat it like a blade roast and go low and slow. If it was a nice cut as a steak more people would sell them as such but they end up mostly as part of a roast.
