Went last Friday to get the $12/dozen oyster deal. They shucked them for free, ate them at Whole Foods cafe area. They were quite good

I need to check out my WF for this deal. The Asian market sells live blue points for $2.25/ ea.

Screw WF, don’t give your money to corporate overlords. Support local seafood.

The shucking is free, and so is the bad attitude.

I tried this once. Then I bought my own shucking knife and did it at home. Then, I tried this twice. You got lucky with your outcome. Those $1 oysters really annoy some of those folks. Not blaming them at all having shucked a few oysters myself. Also, Whole Foods is iffy on quality for those. I know it’s a travesty in some ways but they are better suited to baked oyster (or chowder) dishes.

Damn sneak some vino in your thermos and you got yourself a night at whole foods.

  7. Nice, I would have eaten them at the WF bar with a cold pint.

  8. Amazon oysters eh? I thought Bezos was verboten these days, no?

Where are y’all getting oysters? This is normal price sometimes they’re like 60 cent each where I live

No toppings tho!! Otherwise I’m eating nothing. Just a belly fill. (Note, I’m allergic to shellfish but not raw oysters some how).

I keep meaning to visit my local Whole Foods on a Friday.

Tell me about the different olive oils or include an additional photo.

I did the same a few weeks ago. They had a variety of them in stock. Only issue the person who did the shucking I think they could have did a little bit better. But I usually shuck my own oysters and I shuck them very clean.

Is this only on Fridays? I’ll have to check this out!
