



















Ramen in Japan is amazing, right? But udon is just as delicious and has so much variety!
Let me share the top 20 pictures that popped up when I searched "udon" in my camera roll.
Look at that beautiful, glossy finish on the noodles! Just looking through these makes me hungry again.
By the way, if you notice a lot of dipping-style udon with an egg on top in these pics, that's just my personal bias showing, lol.
Japan has tons of unique, regional styles of udon—like "Sanuki", "Ise", "Musashino", "Kishimen", "Mizusawa", and "Inaniwa" udon. If you ever visit Japan, you absolutely have to give udon a try!

Lol the last time I traveled with a friend to Japan she complained that we ate too much noodles (mostly udon and ramen) 😅 couldn’t disagree with her more, those noodles look fabulous
I was in Kurashiki back in October, and had a nice bowl of cold Bukkake Udon with ebi tempura. So good! Love it with the wasabi.
