Baked my first loaf today! Same day mix and bake. Started around 10AM, shaped around 3PM, straight to the fridge for cold proof ( 6hrs ) and finished baking 11PM. I don’t own a dutch oven so I open baked it. I don’t also own tools for scoring and stuff just yet so I used scissors. (Because I’m not so sure if i’d be successful with this, lol) not that much rise happened but… how’d I do?!!! 😅 Open to feedbacks 🫶🏻

Edit: Forgot to include my recipe –
150g Starter
325g Water
10g Salt
500g Bread flour
Looks great! Just try a deeper score next time…with a sharp knife. But taste matters more than appearance. Maybe get some some tools and a Dutch oven or loaf pan
I think it’s possible to bake without the Dutch oven. You’ll have to mess around with the temp and you have to use a sheet tray with water underneath the bread to create steam, but it might take a few more attempts. I would definitely invest in a razor blade to score the bread tho
