GREEKTOWN — Greektown Restaurant Week is back for its sixth edition with food and drink specials at more than 10 restaurants and bars across a stretch of the West Loop.
Greektown Restaurant Week runs March 1-7 at many decades-old, family-owned establishments in Chicago’s epicenter for Greek dining.
Offers range from free baklava cheesecake and flaming saganaki — a popular appetizer of pan-seared cheese that’s crispy on the outside and melted on the inside — to discounted Greek wine and beer.

Participating spots and their offers:
9 Muses Bar & Grill, 315 S. Halsted St. (lunch and dinner): Four-course tasting menu for $60, or $75 with wine pairings. Includes avgolemono soup and a choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. Dine-in only.
Athena Restaurant, 212 S. Halsted St. (lunch and dinner): One free order of saganaki per table. Dine-in only.
Dugan’s on Halsted, 128 S. Halsted St. (dinner): Half-off Guinness beer March 1. Dine-in only.
Greek Islands Restaurant, 200 S. Halsted St. (lunch and dinner): One free taramosalata appetizer with pita. Dine-in only.
Ithaki Estiatorio, 314 S. Halsted St. (dinner only): One order of free halloumi skewers per table and 30 percent off Greek wines. Dine-in only.
Meli Cafe, 301 S. Halsted St. (breakfast and lunch): One free order per table of Greek honey doughnuts, called loukoumades, with purchase of entree. Dine-in only.
Mr. Greek Gyros, 234 S. Halsted Street (lunch and dinner): One free piece of baklava cheesecake with each gyros plate purchased.
Rye Deli + Drink, 25 S. Halsted St. (breakfast, lunch and dinner): 25 percent off hummus, Mediterranean salad, grilled smoked salmon entrée and lox bagel bruschetta.
Spectrum Bar & Grill, 233 S. Halsted St. (dinner): $2 glass of Greek wine with every dinner entrée purchased; charbroiled lamb chop dinner special with four chops for $28.95 or six chops for $33.95; and $5 Ouzo Blue martinis. Dine-in only.
Taco Burrito King, 811 W. Jackson Blvd. (dinner): Tostada and torta dinners for $9.99 each.
