The roasted eel in bean oil has become one of my favorites. Sadly gotta go to the big Asian grocery store the next town over to get my hands on it.

Enjoy. If you ever run into korean tuna packed in Kimchi sauce. I highly recommend. The hot pepper korean tuna is pretty good but balanced with a little bit of sweet. Not overpowering or anything but I really loved the sour and tang from the kimchi paired with heat over the sweet.
My wife is Japanese and I’ve recently started eating tinned fish because of Travels to Europe (I got hooked on anchovies and moved to others) and heart health. I’m going to wreck grocery stores the next time we visit her parents.

Asian tins make me nervous because I’m used to the ones from the Mediterranean after all these years. I could be missing out.

Waiiit lmk which eel you like the best! Just purchased all of those myself at the local H Mart. Black Pepper was very delicious and I haven’t tried the others.

Most of them require some cooking and eaten with rice or noodles not by themselves.
