One of my tropical sunset seedlings appears to have quad cotyledons. Is there anything I need to know about keeping this alive or caring for it once it’s outside?

  1. No, everything is still pretty much same as any other tomato. That’s just weird and maybe unique genetics. You can try and save seeds for next year and see if those new plants also have quad cotyledons, it could be interesting.

My multicotyledon plants end up bushier, because they often grow mirrored stems.

I have one breeding line that gives multicotyledons about 50% of the time. It’s definitely genetic.
