  1. Yum! Will have to try this one ๐Ÿ˜ by the way I've been loving your cookbook! Everything is so easy, well balanced, and delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ’•

  2. Thank you for sharing . Im cooking for my mom & this would be perfect with thecold wrather we are having. What spices are you using?

  3. Yum I did the exact same recently with the tail end of my rotisserie as you call it chicken We just called it a cooked chicken here in Ireland. They have gone quite expensive but at the end of eating the chicken for a day or two I use the carcass and then I strain that to make the most delicious full of collagen soup. Itโ€™s the best part of the chicken And I also add back in the final chicken breast into the second or third days soup and I do succumb to a little bit of bread with it though Iโ€™m trying to go keto. I love dipping bread into hot soup.โคโคโค

  4. I do this but with brown rice because the rice does get fully cooked due to the amount of water and time it takes, and you can do this on a rice cooker or instant pot

  5. Pro tip if you're like me and don't like how pasta gets in leftover soup: you can make the soup and just stop before you add the pasta! Instead of warming in a microwave, just warm your soup in a small pot on the stove and cook the pasta then. It adds a couple of minutes and you have to wash the pot (just a quick swipe with the sponge/brush and rinse tbh), but it works better for me.

Or you can boil the pasta separately at the same time as you make the soup, toss with some oil to stop it from sticking, and combine in your bowl when you're about to reheat. Easier, but somehow it feels like more work to me to wash an extra larger pot once than washing the small pot every day ๐Ÿ˜…

  6. If you use more veg than usual, (also chicken if you use uncooked chocken)
you can take some from the soup, store separately, then use as pre-cooked ingredients in other dishes during the week. Some chicken for a stirfry, zuchinni & mushroom for patties or an omelette, etc.

  7. That's why I basically live off soups and stews. I'm single but I loathe cooking for only one person. Soups and stews are basically the only way to ensure I eat reasonably healthy meals with vegetables. Otherwise I'd just live off bread, cheese, snacks and ready-to-eat meals from the nearby supermarket. xD
Another advantage: I don't have to bother adjusting the recipes. Am I gonna get 4 portions or 8? I don't care because it just means I need to cook less often. Everything I can't reasonably eat within a few days goes into the freezer for bad brain days.

  8. I'd love to make this but my partner isn't supposed to eat soup because he's a dialysis patient ๐Ÿ˜…

  9. "if you're not in the mood to meal prep, just meal prep!" Lol I'm sorry I love your recipes but the opening was so nonsensical to me

  10. I love soup! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโค๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

  11. You've mentioned a few times before that you have IBS, and onion is a pretty common trigger food for it, I'm wondering how you deal with it and if you have any tips!๐Ÿฉท

  12. I've found that soups and stews also freeze beautifully. It's so nice to make a big batch and have jars in the freezer for whenever the mood strikes (or I can't be bothered to make something else)!

  13. Made this for myself and my daughter got sick the next day lol this has been making her feel a lot better

  14. I love authentic avgolemono soup. So easy and my go to when sick. Much better than chicken noodle from all the nutrients and heavy lemon per my preference along with using bone broth, ginger, and nutritinal yeast for more vitamins. Will have to try your version sometimes as I do love carrots and spinach! โค

  15. In my country this a popular soup but we usually put the orzo with little oil or butter to give it golden color before putting it in the soup or otherwise it will be soggy if just put it in!

  16. Kylie! Youโ€™re pretty much the only nutritionist I trust on the internet. I have a burning question ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ
I might be getting a cholecystectomy soon and have either hear many (I believe are) misinformation or conflicting information to lack of information from doctors about what lifestyle and diet looks like after that! Iโ€™ve hear internet nutritionists talking about the need of taking digestive enzyme pills for the rest of your life before meals, some doctors outright said thatโ€™s a scam. To hearing that you cannot have fatty foods again and so on and so forth!
In your profession opinion, is it something youโ€™ve come across? Any tips or direction to point towards for someone going through something similar? โคโคโค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

  17. I loved when you said in ur old vid years ago "I'm not a mushroom girl, but I am an emoji mushroom girl". the way u also said it is high in vitamin b3 helped

  18. I'll definitely try this. A few days ago (why did it took so long?!) I discovered how nicely Lemon and Dill contrasts with Beans, Kale and Spinach and I'm determined to get at least three dishes with those ingredients into my go-to recipe box.

  19. Have a bag full of orzo in my pantry & too scared to use it lol thanks for the comfy meal idea ๐Ÿ˜Š

  20. I'm an indian, i came from pushpek's channel where he reacted on one of your videos about indian food. And i really respect you for your honesty, and yhe fact that you respected us. Here's a subscriber.

  21. It will not be good for reheating if you just leave it in the fridge. Pasta in liquid continues softening, losing el dente quality. Best to cook orzo separately or freeze it immediately.

  22. That's my go to every week! And I make extra and freeze for days I don't want to cook. Please try moroccan harira soup: a staple for this Ramadan month ๐Ÿ™‚ It has meat, lentils and chickpeas which makes it high protein and high fiber.

  23. I thought youโ€™re not allowed to reheat chicken twice, if you put pre cooked chicken in but then cook two days later is it okay? Iโ€™m so scared of cooking chicken lol

  24. When you live with a man, expect that whole batch if soup to be gone in 10 minutes instead of a week XD

  25. this is absolutely one of my favorite meals. the only thing i would suggest is cooking the orzo every meal so that it doesnโ€™t get soggy sitting in the broth!
