I probably would not make it, but i would try it if someone else made it. The sweet might make it work.

For me, grilled cheese has a lot to do with the crisp. Flavor profile is probably ok. But, not sure about the texture.

Holy shit. I never once thought of this. I might not go with sweetness, but pancakes are just a bread when you get down to it.
Also, I have a box of pancake mix.
As to the guy making barf face, you never had the syrup from your pancakes hit the savory part of breakfast? Like I’m not a big sweets guy but that is a fond memory, even if I was a weird little child blocking off my eggs and cheese. I used silverware but realize now that was rude.
Also weird, my parents were huge on table manners but never said a thing about that.
