Recipe
You need:
◆20-22 cm mold
part 1
◆ 500 g cream cheese (I used Philadelphia)
◆ 4 eggs
◆ 290 ml whipping cream 33%
◆120 g granulated sugar
◆20 g cornstarch
This is supposedly the complete original, but I found different versions and added
◆ juice of 1/2 lemon
◆ 1 teaspoon vanilla
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with sugar and add the eggs one at a time.
Add vanilla.
In the second bowl, mix the whipping cream with the starch (I also found flour somewhere) thoroughly with a whisk.
Pour into the cream cheese mixture and mix thoroughly.
Add lemon juice.
Line a baking dish with baking paper as shown in the video and pour the cream in – it should be almost to the top.
Bake at 230-240 degrees Celsius for approximately half an hour.
Let it cool outside.
You can still taste the original at La Viña restaurant, where this cake originated.
