Vegan Strasbourg: Végéman

Vegeman is another vegan fast food restaurant in Strasbourg that I’d love to try the next time I’m there! They specialize in vegan kebabs, nuggets, cheezy sticks, onion rings, fries, and more.

There are also salads on the menu to balance out all of the fried food. Plus, you can try some desserts, like cookies and muffins.

Bistrot et Chocolat

Bistrot et Chocolat is a vegetarian bistro that’s perfect for those with a sweet tooth. While there were many vegan dishes to choose from, we didn’t get the chance to dine here (though I’d love to try the vegan brunch sometime!).

We stopped by for coffee and dessert after a bike ride in Strasbourg. I was looking for a little pick me up after riding bikes around the city.

I ordered an iced latte with almond milk. We split a dessert, which was a chocolate molten lava cake with mango sorbet.

The cake was warm and gooey. Very yummy! Justin and I enjoyed their little patio outdoors. Nowadays, they have even more vegan desserts and pastries on the menu.

I would love to return someday. They also have a small shop with chocolate available for purchase.

La Bouture

La Bouture is a vegan restaurant, bar and cafe operated by PUR COOP. They serve gourmet dishes created from fresh, seasonal ingredients and offer many gluten-freeee options, too.

For breakfast, you’ll find vegan pastries and specialty coffees. For lunch, there is a buffet of healthy dishes offered family style on self-service.

Throughout the afternoon, there are vegan cakes and pastries. And all day long, they serve some of the best coffee in Strasbourg.

In the evening, there are cocktails and mocktails, along with an apertivo tapas offering on occasion. And on Sundays, there is a fabulous vegan brunch.

Origin: The First Vegan Coffee Shop in Strasbourg

Also operated by PUR COOP, Origin is Strasbourg’s first vegan coffee shop. There are delicious specialty coffees in a beautiful cafe tearoom.

They have many baked goods, desserts and pastries in Origin, including croissants, cinnamon rolls, cakes, tarts, and doughnuts. There are also light bites, like sandwiches, salads, quiche and pizza.

Vegan Turkish Food: Cigköftem

Cigkoftem is an international vegetarian chain of Turkish food, including Turkish street food. Their establishment in Strasbourg is very vegan-friendly.

Order the vegan kofte, which is made out of bulgur, tomato, and spices. All of the food at Cigkoftem is vegan, but some of the drinks and desserts may contain honey or dairy products.

Where to Stay in Strasbourg

MGallery Cour du Corbeau Strasbourg FranceMGallery Cour du Corbeau Strasbourg France

Justin and I stayed at the charming Hotel Cour du Corbeau right in Old Town Strasbourg. This hotel combined old world charm with contemporary elegance. If you’re a fan of half-timbered architecture, you’ll love staying here!

Our luxurious Junior Suite was roomy and bright, combining classic and contemporary styles. The half-timbered framing from the building’s exterior carried right into our room. Exposed wooden beams marked the corridor to the bedroom where we enjoyed a restful night’s sleep.

The location could not get any better than this! Located right on the river, you can walk to every tourist attraction and explore every nook of Old Town Strasbourg.

It’s steps away from the Strasbourg Cathedral, Petite France, restaurants, cafes, shops, and everywhere you want to be. Be sure to book your stay at this beautiful hotel for your trip to Strasbourg.
