New Mediterranean options are headed to San Antonio’s Far Northside with the addition of Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe, a chain that has been expanding in Central Texas with locations in New Braunfels and San Marcos. The newest outpost for the Mediterranean eatery is gearing up to open near the Encino Park area this week. 

The new Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe location near Encino Park shared via Facebook that the restaurant is set to open this Tuesday morning, October 7.

“Countdown is on, Encino Park! We officially open October 7th and can’t wait to serve this amazing community fresh, feel-good Mediterranean food!” the post reads.

Customers can find Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe in the Marketplace at Encino Park retail center, where other business like Sprouts Farmers Market, Pet Supplies Plus and Sakura Asian Cuisine currently operate. Panfila Cantina and Tutto Pepe Osteria also serve cuisine nearby, making this area rife with dining options. 

Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe offers a selection of Mediterranean classics like falafel, hummus, gyros and grilled meats. The restaurant’s menu also serves up various salads which can be supplemented with proteins like chicken kebobs, grilled salmon or lamb. Kids meals and desserts are also available, like baklava and cheesecake. 

Once open, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe will operate 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays, the restaurant told MySA in an email.
