Miami’s most anticipated culinary celebration returned to the sands in spectacular fashion as the 25th annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One took over Miami Beach, transforming the shoreline into a four day playground for gastronomy, celebrity culture, and immersive luxury experiences. For a quarter century, the festival has served as a defining moment on the international food calendar, blending culinary artistry with high energy entertainment. This milestone edition raised the bar yet again with more than 110 curated events spanning tastings, intimate chef dinners, wine seminars, late night celebrations, brunches, and master classes designed to celebrate the art of eating, drinking, and discovery.

What began as a modest gathering of culinary enthusiasts has evolved into one of the most influential food festivals in the world, attracting hundreds of acclaimed chefs, vintners, mixologists, and cultural tastemakers who converge in South Florida each year to showcase innovation and indulgence in equal measure. The festival’s 25th anniversary delivered an especially vibrant mix of culinary icons from Food Network, Grammy award winning artists, and social media personalities, transforming Miami Beach into a stage where food and culture collide.

Thursday evening, set the tone with the return of the legendary Burger Bash, hosted by Rachael Ray alongside co host Brooklyn Peltz Beckham. The beloved beachside competition once again brought together more than 30 chefs, each serving their most inventive creations while vying for the coveted title of “The Very Best Burger.” This year’s judging panel captured the festival’s signature mix of culinary credibility and pop culture energy, featuring restaurateur Matt Kuscher, comedian Bert Kreischer, supermodel and entrepreneur Ashley Graham, award winning journalist Gayle King, viral culinary star Nick DiGiovanni, and digital food influencer Samantha Schnur.

The evening escalated with a high energy musical kickoff as Grammy winning producer Diplo took over the Grand Tasting Village courtyard for a late night performance celebrating 25 years of the festival. Hosted by LIV Beach and presented by Goldbelly, the nighttime takeover marked the first after dark transformation of the venue, signaling the festival’s evolution into an immersive entertainment experience as much as a culinary one.

Friday continued the star powered momentum as rapper and entrepreneur Ja Rule hosted an afternoon takeover at Bar Collins inside the iconic Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Later, television personality and restaurateur Guy Fieri brought his signature competitive flair to the sands with Coca Cola presents Tournament of Champions LIVE, an electrifying cook off inspired by his hit Food Network series. Five teams led by past champions battled through culinary challenges in front of a live audience, while legendary hip hop pioneer Rev Run delivered a special performance that merged music culture with Miami’s vibrant beachside atmosphere.

By Saturday, the festival reached a creative peak, with cultural programming expanding beyond food into podcasting, music, and lifestyle storytelling. At the Miami Beach Bandshell, Chew On This, a live podcast series presented by iHeartRadio, blended comedy, celebrity interviews, and culinary conversation. The lineup included a live taping of Something’s Burning hosted by Bert Kreischer and Chiquis and Chill with Chiquis Rivera, alongside appearances by political commentator Ana Navarro and returning festival favorite Ja Rule.

Meanwhile, Grammy nominated hip hop legend Fat Joe brought unmistakable Bronx energy to The Cookout, hosted by chef JJ Johnson and presented by Sonrisa Rum. Across the festival grounds, the sprawling Grand Tasting Village continued to serve as the culinary heartbeat of the weekend, featuring live demonstrations sponsored by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove.

Multi Emmy nominated actress Sofía Vergara and her son Manolo Vergara made a highly anticipated appearance showcasing their ventures ¡Dios Mío! Coffee and TOMA Empanadas, while Ja Rule returned to perform on the Only in Dade stage, adding a music forward twist to the daytime culinary celebration.

Elsewhere on the waterfront, television host and cookbook author Katie Lee led Sip & Swirl, an elegant wine happy hour set against the breezy backdrop of Joia Beach. As night fell, the energy shifted to a late night indulgence hosted by Ashley Graham at Bar Bucce, where chef Michael Pirolo of Macchialina joined James Beard Award winning chef Marc Vetri of Vetri Cucina to host a decadent pizza party celebrating Italian flavors and Lambrusco fueled revelry.

Sunday brought a refined blend of wellness and celebration as actor Neil Patrick Harris and chef David Burtka hosted Coffee Culture, an experience presented by THE WELL at Miami Tropic in the Miami Design District. The brunch inspired gathering spotlighted coffee craftsmanship, wellness rituals, and Miami’s ever evolving culinary sophistication.

The festival’s grand finale once again delivered a burst of music and spectacle as hospitality visionary David Grutman transformed the Grand Tasting Village courtyard into a high energy mini music festival. Global superstar DJ Khaled joined Grammy winning DJ Cedric Gervais to headline the electrifying closing celebration, ensuring the festival concluded with the same exuberance that defined its first twenty five years.

The official closing event, BACARDÍ presents 25 Years of Legendary Bites & Iconic Sips, brought together culinary storytelling and musical performance. Host Andrew Zimmern and celebrated DJ Cassidy delivered a finale that reflected the spirit of the festival itself, vibrant, celebratory, and unmistakably Miami.
