Hi there any advice on how to clean the stubborn burned chargrilled bit on the grill? Would like to give a total clean instead of just a surface scrape?

Fire and balled up foil. Cook something with fat.

Dawn powerwash works very well for a full clean. Spray it on and let it soak. Then take a scour pad to the grate. Rinse and repeat as needed.

There are grill cleaning solutions you can buy that are essentially degreasers. I like to use a bald dip piece of aluminum foil or a chain mail scrubber that was meant for cleaning cast-iron pans. But typically I like to do that while the grill is hot so I wear a grill glove while doing that. Another method for a deep, clean it using something like easy off oven spray. I would put the entire great inside a large black trash bag. You need the really big ones. You spray it while it’s inside the garbage bag and you fold it up and keep it sealed for several hours or overnight. That will basically melt away a lot of the grease and then you’ll be able to use a hose or a damp rag to clean it off.
