This might be the easiest cake I’ve ever made — just 2 ingredients!
All you need is angel food cake mix and a can of pie filling. I used strawberry rhubarb pie filling, and it baked into the fluffiest, light, sweet-tart cake. No eggs, no oil, no extra ingredients.
Just mix them together, bake, and that’s it. Perfect for when you need a quick dessert recipe, a potluck dessert, or something sweet without spending much time in the kitchen.
You can swap the filling too — cherry, blueberry, apple, peach… whatever you have on hand.
This 2 ingredient angel food cake recipe is definitely going in my regular dessert rotation.

You didn't say anywhere what temperature you used
Angel food cake has a maraschino cherry smell to it in a flavor anyway so the Cherry is really good but I eat strawberry the first time and that's when I noticed that it smelled like maraschino cherries the angel food mix
