Found this at a local cafe closing sale for €450
I stumbled across this listing from a local business that’s shutting down. They’re asking €450 for the machine.
Does anyone recognize the make and model?
My only concern is that it might be a bit too heavy for my butler to carry to the kitchen.

BFC Lira 2
Your butler will also need to add a 0 to the electricity spend. Shouldn’t be a problem though
Probably easier to leave the machine in situ and your butler carry you to it.
These are great.
– They never break down.
– Never need maintaining.
– Parts are sooo cheap.
– They sip power.
– Make two expresso’s at once
It’s absolutely PERFECT for home use. Unbelievable that you didn’t have to fight hoards of other people for this. You are such a masterful bargain spotter.
I’m pretty good at profiling: I suspect you are a bit of a daredevil.. Retired with lots of time on your hands? Lots of passive income? Kids have left home? Secure marriage with a partner who loves you without needing to spend much time with you.
You are enviable. Well done.
I think it will be too small for home use. What if you have 3 guests and have to pull 3 shots simultaneously?
plumbed in or reservoir
BFC Lira 2. It weighs 70kg and is plumb in only.
It draws up to 20A so can’t be plugged into a normal US outlet unless it’s in the kitchen with nothing else in. When heating the boiler it uses the same amount of energy as an over or tankless water heater.
It also takes 30-45 minutes to warm up.
The other sub is leaking
Just buy the cafe and have it moved to your house. That way you can keep the staff as secondary butlers!
Your butler can contact the electrician to upgrade the wiring – problem solved
Café machines are often quite cheap to find because they can’t be plugged into a normal outlet.
In Sweden, you can find machines that will run circles around 99/100 home machines for around the same price, but they require three-phase power. That means you can’t plug them into a normal socket.
Most houses don’t have three-phase outlets in the kitchen anyway. If they do have one, it’s usually in the garage for an electric car, not in the kitchen.
And also ofc the fact that you need at least 2 butlers to carry them in to place.
Wrong sub guys
You can open your cafe with this.
