Craving for something creamy, classy and easy to make ? Then this Saffron Muhalabiya is the best option.
Ingredients:
Milk-2&1/4 cup+ 2 tablespoon extra for soaking saffron.
Corn flour -2 tablespoon
Sugar 4-5 tablespoon
Rose water -1 teaspoon
Saffron-1 teaspoon (15-16 strands)
Method:
Soak saffron in 2 tablespoon of warm milk.
Mix corn flour in 1/4 cup of milk.
Add the remaining milk, soaked saffron and cornflour in a thick bottomed pan.
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly.
Cook until it thickens ( pudding consistency)
Add rise water and cook for a minute.
Remove from heat.
Pour into serving cups, and let it cool.
Once cooled refrigerate for 2-4 hours .
Garnish with pistachios or rose petals.( optional)
