Pay attention to what grows and fruits well in your region. I would narrow it down to less than 10 next year.

I’m a big fan of indigo rose! It can take forever to fully ripen, but it holds a special place in my heart.

And “too many” plants doesn’t exist, only too little room does! Happy growing!

19 is not too many if you’re growing for the first time and trying to figure out what you like and what grows well in your area. If you have the room go for it and have fun!

Nope! Grew 54 plants last year. But we grow to sell at our local farmers’ market, so YMMV.

Too much work for me. I’m down to Cherokee Purple and one or two others.

I grew 41 tomato plants last year, across 19 varieties, and it was a bit too much. Especially at harvest time.
