  2. Oh yeah, We will be making this next week. It is going to be getting snowy, and ice age kind of cold. Brrr, that's gonna be cold. I think I will make biscuits to go with it.
    Keep them ideas coming, my SS check doesn't stretch very far, so this helps us out.

  3. I grew up with rolled dumplings. My mother would stew a chicken with some celery, onion and a carrot. She strained the broth. Tossed the vegs and shredded the chicken. She rolled out her dough and covered it generously with flour and cut it up in squares. She dropped the dumplings in the boiling broth carefully and gave it a stir. When the floated she added the chicken. The broth thickened up. She seasoned the broth also. She grew up in tne south on a farm, so the vegs were given to the pigs. I make mine the same way.

  4. For those who don't know, you can get day old rotisserie chicken at Wal-mart which is usually 4 bucks to make this meal even cheaper.

  8. I want u to make pig belly here in pa. It's the pigs belly n u put sauge n potatoes n.cabbage n a piece of bread 2 soak up the grease hope u make it its very good bake till crust is brown n tender Diane from pa.๐Ÿ˜‚

  10. an idea i learned from the interwebs to shread the rotissery chicken, is right when you get home while its warm, keep in the bag, and start to massage the chicken and then voila, pulls the bones out ofntye bag and you're done…
