I finally had the opportunity to visit Japan and had to stop into Glitch. Everyone here mentioned how busy the Tokyo location gets, so I popped into the Osaka location during the middle of a work day. The line was super short and the shop itself was quite cozy and neat. For those who don’t know, they have a handful of different coffee beans available (with their specialty being light roasts) and you can pick which beans you want and if you’d prefer it to be made into a latte or drip. Prices for the beans vary. The staff are friendly, helpful, walk you through their offerings, and speak a decent amount of english. My friends and I tried three different beans as a latte and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The tasting notes are spot on and super impressive. Pricing is a little steep, but coming from California I’m used to paying a premium for my coffee anyway. I’ll definitely be popping in once or twice more before heading home.

For 1600 ¥ I get 250 grams of a semi-wash Rosario Castillo, I’m blessed living in the Colombian Coffee axis.
I went to the one in ginza and absolutely loved it

I am a big fan of Glitch and I got cups from Glitch as souvenirs. now I was able to source same bean from Glitch in US. feel like Glitch is in my home hahaha.
Japan always looks so amazing. I have had so many people tell me Osaka was a not-so-hidden gem compared to Tokyo. That presentation also looks sick too! :)! Enjoy it!
This looks like a dream. Im really impressed by the quality and atmosphere. The coffee looks great also.
Converted in to £, the bill comes to £18.38. That is 3 lattes using a guest espresso and leaving a tip, seems reasonable.
the only way to experience glitch osaka is to pull up in a loud suped up honda civic, pound 50 dollars worth of coffee, then blast off kanjozoku style pumping eurobeat. trust me, the locals will appreciate.
I thought this would be like 60 dollars. This is totally fair.
That crema looks amazing, this must have been a great shot.
My 2 lattes were that much in tokyo.. interesting
Ginza is a pricey location to be fair
Good choice getting their aroma nativo pink bourbon, it stands out as my most memorable coffee ever
So does glitch do espresso? Or are the milky drinks made with pourover? Or something else?
I need some of these cups in my collection – I saw a mention in the US, anyone know if they’re available in the UK?
Hot Drip – Ready for the Floor
I have seen enough of this, will visit it this fall on my Japan trip
