Made a 10 pound pork butt for around 23$ with spices. A bunch of Spanish rice with corn in it for $5 or so and some refried beans and cheese for another $10. Got about 30 burritos before I gave up and gave the meat to a friend. How do I spice up the pork and the meal without it turning into mush when freezing unfreezing? Will 505 green chili peppers and queso be a game
Changer or is it in my head?

I would try changing it up. I do this regularly because I can get pork butt for about .99 a lb with digital coupons. I usually make carnitas with it. First I start with the slow cooker and then I crisp up the meat using the ovens broil setting, or I throw some meat in the air fryer. This gives it a really nice texture for burritos, tacos, quesadillas or even for chipotle style bowls. When I get tired of the same taste I’ll add a green sauce, or a red sauce to change up the flavor of the meat. You can use this new flavored meat for the same things I mentioned above, but I personally love it for “baked” microwaved potatoes. When I do this I love to microwave the potato for a couple minutes (put the potatoes in the air fryer after the inside cooks for some crispy skin if you like) then I fluff the potato inside, and I like to stuff the potato with the pork mixture, usually Greek yogurt for sour cream, a bit of cheese, a bit of butter, and any other toppings you enjoy in a baked potato. This is a favorite of mine especially when I just need something fast, and different. I also love to add bbq sauce to some of the pork when it comes out of the slow cooker, and I make mini sliders with that pork (you can usually find some nice rolls on the clearance section of the grocery store if you’re trying to watch the wallet). I usually like to add some cheese, bbq pork, and bake them, or air fry them to melt the cheese, and I’ll make a cabbage slaw for a nice crunch, and extra flavor/texture. I also use the pork to make pastas and I use the shredded pork as the main protein a personal favorite is an Alfredo pasta with broccoli, frozen peas, and large chunks of shredded pork, so they don’t get mushy in the pasta. There are also tons of ideas you can find online. I do recommend making a salsa and a veggies slaw for the burritos too it’ll add a nice change in flavor and it will add some texture with the cabbage crunch. Even some guacamole would be amazing in the burrito you showed and it changes up the taste/ texture of the food. Good Luck OP I hope some of these ideas inspire you!
