A longtime Italian restaurant on Cape Cod has closed its doors.

DiParma Italian Table in West Yarmouth announced Monday on social media that it has closed after more than 20 years of service. The restaurant is owned by the Kounadis family, which also owns Yarmouth House and Scally’s Irish Ale House, both in West Yarmouth, and Tap City Grille in Hyannis and Falmouth.
“The owners have all been in the business a long time and they just wanted to downsize a little bit and spend more time with their kids and grandkids,” Eric White, general manger for the restaurant group, told Boston.com.
Here is what the owners wrote on Facebook:
After 20 plus wonderful years, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of DiParma Italian Table. This place has meant so much to our family and to our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and support we’ve shared over the years.
While this chapter is coming to an end, our story certainly isn’t. All of our catering services will continue—and even expand—through our sister restaurant, Yarmouth House.
We truly hope to continue seeing all of you and sharing great meals and memories together at Scally’s, Tap City Grille, and Yarmouth House.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for supporting our family of restaurants for so many years. We look forward to continuing these relationships for many years to come.
Jacqueline’s on Twenty Eight is taking over the space and will open by the end of April, according to a Facebook post. The menu will feature Italian cuisine, seafood, pasta, and other classic favorites, and the interior will have an Old Hollywood theme.
