Hi! I’m new to growing peppers, my first plant is this “Carolina Reaper”, however, I’ having doubts since all the fruit it produce have no signature tail. Though I opened it and the characteristic of the smell and taste I’ve found in google matches like the sweet and soury/acidic smell, the pain when I licked it.

I see what you did there. Look like reapers to me. Just grew ’em last year.
Looks like one to me. Reapers can vary a lot in looks even on the same plant. Tails can be long or not existent. I believe the skin texture and overall shape in this fruit definitely has reaper genetics. While we cant tell for certain by a picture, it has enough traits to make me believe it is one.
Please wear gloves when you handle those reapers.
If they are hot as hell and taste like shit, you got it! ☺️

Overwinter them and the tails are more defined year 2…
