Just as with lasagna or meatloaf, people have strong opinions about how a meatball should taste. So when you buy them premade, it goes without saying that not just any brand will do.

For years, Costco shoppers have loved Kirkland Signature Italian Style Beef Meatballs for their versatility and tenderness. However, recently we noticed members raving about another brand, and all of the positive reviews have us convinced we need to switch ASAP.

Mama Mancini’s Jumbo Beef Meatballs at Costco

Mama Mancini’s Jumbo Beef Meatballs are a meatball lover’s dream. They start with a tried-and-true mix of beef and breadcrumbs. In addition, they are seasoned with onion, herbs, and Pecorino Romano, a sheep’s milk-based cheese with a sharp, salty flavor.

Inside the package, you’ll find the meatballs nestled in a thick, rich tomato sauce. All you need to do is warm the meatballs and sauce in a skillet on the stovetop for around 20 minutes until heated through. Alternatively, you can microwave them for 5-6 minutes. Then, simply add to your favorite recipes.

Enjoy a portion alongside bread with a dusting of Parmesan cheese, or spoon them over buttery pasta. Alternatively, you can slice them in half and place them onto a sub roll with gooey melted provolone for a delicious and hearty meatball sandwich.

In a recent Reddit thread, fans shared their thoughts on the hefty bites. “Best thing Costco has,” said one person. “Love these meatballs. I would buy them at every chance,” said another. “They are good and come with more than enough sauce,” one person added.

Some users disagreed, citing blandness as the main reason they prefer other brands. However, others quickly came to Mama Mancini’s defense.

“These are the best refrigerated or frozen meatballs by a mile,” said one fan.”The sauce is ridiculously good, too, which was the most surprising part. Can’t recommend these enough.”

You can find Mama Mancini’s Jumbo Beef Meatballs in the refrigerated section at Costco, and if you love the homestyle flavor, be sure to check out the rest of the lineup on the brand’s website.
