To celebrate Pi Day March 14, Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza in Viera will donate $3.14 from every large pizza sold to Space Coast Habitat for Humanity.
Located at 7655 Stadium Parkway in the Addison Center at Viera, the promotion requires no code, coupon or special request — all qualifying sales automatically support the nonprofit.
For those who have forgotten their high school geometry, π, the Greek letter “pi,” represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. As an irrational number, its decimal representation never ends or repeats and is typically represented by its first three digits: 3.14.
Hence, “Pi Day” on 3/14 each year.
“Pi Day is one of those moments where something fun can also be meaningful,” said Jerry Roberts, co-owner of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, in a news release.
“Pizza brings people together, and partnering with Habitat for Humanity allows us—and our guests—to turn that shared experience into real impact for families across Florida.”

The history of Piesanos
Co-owner Joel Mills, originally from Staten Island, moved to Florida in 1994. Joel and his wife, Rebecca, opened Italian Gator Pizza by the Slicein Gainesville in 2000, eager to serve pizza and Italian dishes to University of Florida students and faculty.
Later, collaborating with three more restaurant owners — Michael and Melissa Akey and Laure Young — the group established Piesanos in 2009. There are 15 locations in Florida.
